Join us for the artist reception at powerHouse on 8^th on Saturday October 22.

Two years ago, Park Sloper Evan Sklar started drawing Brooklyn by night using his finger and an iPad app. His evocative and expressive depictions of Park Slope and Brooklyn Heights have since expanded to include daytime scenes and places as far away as San Francisco.

The exhibition will run through January 31, 2018.

About the Artist:

Evan Sklar has lived in Brooklyn for more than 20 years. He is a photographer and artist. He received his B.A. from Bard College and an M.F.A in photography from Yale University. In addition to drawing and photography, he enjoys raising his dogs, walking with his kids, scrambling eggs and poking around the garden.
