Come join us for an exhibition of Jacqueline Schmidt’s drawings. All of her illustrations are hand-drawn, inspired by the animal Kingdom, and made locally in Brooklyn.
About the Artist:
Jacqueline Schmidt is the founder of the popular paper goods company Screech Owl Design. Her first book Patchwork Helps a Friend was published by POW! in 2013 and her second book, Patchwork Goes Under Cover releases on December 2nd. Jacqueline’s work has been featured in Dwell, Vogue, The Wall Street Journal, New York Magazine, and many other publications. Jacqueline has been hailed for creating a quirky, detailed world “where wildlife and wing chairs go hand-in-hand.” A lifelong New Yorker, Jacqueline lives in Brooklyn with her husband, two children, and cats.
