About the Author:
Cara Zelas is an educator and kindness advocate from Sydney, Australia. Cara earned her Bachelor of Media and Bachelor of Education degrees from Macquarie University. She moved to New York in 2012 where she graduated with an Early Childhood Montessori (AMS) teaching certification.
Soon after moving to New York City, Cara became active with The Good Dog Foundation along with her dog, Little Dude. Cara and Little Dude trained to be a therapy team in order to visit hospitals and schools throughout New York City, where they deliver kindness and support to those in need. Through this experience, Cara quickly discovered that children respond most positively to the kindness of dogs, which is how the Big World of Little Dude book series and the Kindness.
Today Cara lives in New York with her husband, health advocate Seth Ginsberg, baby Grace and Little Dude.
