About Feminist Baby:
Just in time for the highly-charged political season comes FEMINIST BABY from two-time Emmy Award-winning author and BuzzFeed writer Loryn Brantz!
Feminist Baby is a baby who loves being herself—and doesn’t care what you think. From choosing what colors she likes, to what she wears, this irrepressible protagonist combined with the refreshing message of equality and empowerment is sure to appeal to moms and dads that want to raise children who feel inspired to make positive changes in the world—for everyone.
About No More Bows:
Milly loves Hugo. Hugo loves Milly. Milly LOVES dressing up Hugo in bows. Hugo does NOT like wearing bows. Not frilly ones or sparkly ones or bows with jewels. Finally, Hugo can’t take it anymore and he runs away! But life is lonely without Milly. Maybe bows aren’t so dreadful after all—and maybe life is better with a friend by your side.
Readers will laugh out loud in Samantha Cotterill’s delightful picture book about a dog and his girl.
“An enjoyable, repeatable read-aloud with memorable art that will have readers hoping for another outing with Hugo.” — Kirkus Reviews
About the Authors/Illustrators:
Samantha Cotterill, also known as mummysam, has been drawing since the early 1980s, when she discovered that her doodles could be traded for gum and candy in the lunchroom. Samantha now creates illustrations and stop-motion minifilms out of her home in upstate New York, which she shares with her husband and two boys. This is the first picture book she has written and illustrated. You can visit her at www.mummysam.com.
Loryn Brantz is a two-time Emmy Award-winning author, illustrator, and design professional.
